Dr. James Harrison

James has been a lecturer at the Edinburgh School of Law since July 2007. He teaches on a wide range of international law courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. James’ main areas of research interest are international law of the sea, international environmental law, and international investment law. He has been involved in various international research projects within these areas. Prior to entering academia, James worked for a small nongovernmental organization in the field of labour rights and environmental protection.
